EARLY DETECTION NEUROMOTOR ASSESSMENT
First Automated Non-Invasive Neuromotor Screening for Newborns
By using a machine learning-derived algorithm, EDNA detects patterns of movement variability in newborns. Screening for possible future testing, EDNA provides insights to the neuromotor system at birth, potentially opening pathways to earlier detection and intervention for conditions such as cerebral palsy, metabolic disorders and brain abnormalities.
EDNA’s patented technology was developed in collaboration with Nationwide Children’s Hospital and is currently in studies with the Cerebral Palsy Foundation Early Detection and Intervention Network comprised of the top U.S. neonatal intensive care units.
